Class size is limited. Designed for children ages 5 – 14.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to clinicians’ licensure restrictions, this virtual class is only available to permanent residents of the state of Oregon.

The Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) class is a parents-only, evidence-based treatment of childhood anxiety with an emphasis on promoting child confidence and coping with anxiety through making systematic and sustainable changes in parental actions and child-parent interaction patterns. You will learn how to best manage child discomfort, increase giving of effective supports to your child, and choose alternative methods for responding to anxious distress to decrease family stress levels. This course will be co-led by Mariko Clark, MA LPC, Priya Ramanujam, Ph.D., Nichole Sage, Psy.D., and Michael Schwartz, Ph.D., and conducted virtually over seven, 90-minute classes in a group setting.
