April 10 – June 5, 2023 (no class May 29 due to Memorial Day).
This research-based curriculum is designed to support parents with children ages 3-8 years-old with disruptive behavior including hyperactivity, defiance, impulsivity and tantrums. Parents learn to improve their child’s coping, self-regulation and social skills and decrease negative behaviors at home and/or at school through supportive parenting techniques. Sessions are highly interactive, engaging, informative and positive. Two sessions will be dedicated to child-focused self-regulation skills based off the companion curriculum, “Dinosaur School.” Families leave each session with tools for every-day use. A packet of materials will be sent to each participant prior to the start of group. All sessions will be conducted via Zoom.
Cost: $375.00/family, non-insurance billable (includes 8 group sessions and session materials. A limited number of scholarships are available–indicate your interest at registration).
